Moni Johnson

Director / Coach

Moni has been teaching skating, to children and adults, for 40 years
Moni has taught Figure Skating and Power Skating, in Manitoba and Ontario, at all levels including, House League, Hub, A, AA, AAA and figure skating from canskate beginners to Canadian National competitors.


  • Program designer, developer and director / coach of the Power Skating Skill School for 25 years.
  • Certified  N.C.C.P. (National Coaching Certification Program) Level III instructor and 5 tasks of Level 4.
  • Canadian Special Olympics certified Level I coach.
  • Standard first aid qualified with level C-CPR.
  • Police Check Verification.
  • Worker Health & Safety certified
  • Triple Gold Medallist and Canadian competitor.
  • Over 15 years with Lawfield minor Hockey Association
  • Beverly Minor Hockey Association Technical Development
  • Hamilton Hawks Minor Hockey Technical Development

    • Played hockey for 12 years, enrolled in Power Skating Skill School 12 years, 10 years teaching Power Skating Skill School all levels and age groups.

    • Played Jr with Stoney Creek Warriors.
    • Head coaching experience with Dofasco MHA
    • 33 years experience with Martial Arts

    • Has played hockey foe 15 years.
    • Played house league and high school hockey.
    • Won 5 house league and 1 high school championships.
    • Attended PSSS for 6 years.
    • Coached with PSSS for 4 years.
    • Has worked for the city of Hamilton as Supie in summer camps.
